Stonebwoy is my friend, but Shatta Wale songs are more popular in Jamaica – Christopher Martins reveals naijweb.ng Apr 10, 2019 6:30 AM Jamaican born reggae/dancehall artiste Christopher Martins, has added his voice into the ongoing debate in Ghana concerning the two most rival dancehall artistes in Ghana now, Shatta wale and Stonebwoy presence in Jamaica, the home of dancehall and reggae music. 


 Speaking to Arnold Mensah Elavanyo, the host of social media entertainment program dubbed ‘vibes in 5’, the reggae and dancehall star revealed without mincing words the truth between the two about the one who is more popular in his country Jamaica where the genre was originated. 


 A question was put to him by the host, Arnold, as to who’s getting more rotations with his songs in Jamaica, then Christopher Martins replied, 


" Stonebwoy is my friend, we actually have something together, his songs are there, but Shatta Wale songs are very popular and crazy, there’s this particular song, i have forgotten the title, it’s very bhad in Jamaica’. He went on to say that, he is ready to have a collaboration with anyone who’s ready for it and said Shatta Wale is one of the artiste he will like to work with in Ghana."


  Few days now, there has been a strong debate amongst fans and media personalities as to who’s making more waves and moves in Jamaica, all because pictures of Stonebwoy and some Jamaican artistes hit the internet during his visit to the country. It took one media personality by name Kim, from Jamaica to prove to the world who’s actually on top in their country with his songs, her comment didn’t go down well with Stonebwoy fans. T


hey verbally attacked and abused her for coming public to disclose the reality on the grounds in Jamaica. She said almost the same things Chris is saying today about Shatta Wale songs being popular and on major radio stations.
